According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, on September 14, a telephone conversation occurred between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hossein-Amir Abdolahian.
Iran's Foreign Minister noted that the tension between Azerbaijan and Armenia was worrying and stated that the region is not ready for a new conflict. He emphasized that the territorial integrity of the region's countries and the integrity of their international borders are essential for Iran. The minister said that Iran is in favor of resolving the issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia through peaceful negotiations and is ready to assist in this matter.
