"The issue of Ukraine's accession to the EU has been resolved," said Charles Michel, head of the European Council. "Ukraine is the EU, and the EU is Ukraine. And we must make every effort to make this promise a reality as soon as possible," said Michel, speaking at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He hoped the representative of Ukraine would take up his position soon.
"By bombing Ukraine, Russia is firing missiles at everything the European Union believes in, attacking the foundation of our union. a union that we created after the tragedy of the Second World War," said the head of the European Council.
