The myth circulated by pro-Western Armenians was dispelled

Political scientist and leader of the "Democratic Alternative" party Suren Surenyants writes on his Facebook page.

"Does Pashinyan oppose only Baku's agenda or Russian control as well?

"There can be no question of an extraterritorial corridor," Russian Deputy Prime Minister Overchuk said. The myth circulated by pro-Western Armenians that Russia is imposing a corridor on Armenia was dispelled.

I have had to say that Baku has no allies regarding the corridor plan.

Point 9 of the tripartite statement of November 9 mentions the road connecting the central part of Azerbaijan to Nakhichevan is under the control of the Russian border guard service.

Baku cannot get more through negotiations (Overchuk also confirms this). But is Nikol Pashinyan opposing only Baku's agenda or Russian control? If it is the second option, it is an adventure that paves the way for Azerbaijani aggression."
