Hayk Azizbekyan was appointed the commissioner of diaspora affairs in the Netherlands

The Institute of Commissioners of Diaspora Affairs continues to be introduced in the Armenian communities of the Diaspora, within the framework of which the second appointment took place on January 18. By the decision of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Hayk Azizbekyan was appointed Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs in the Netherlands, with the status of an advisor on a public basis.

International lawyer Hayk Azizbekyan was born in Yerevan, has lived in the Netherlands for many years, and educated at Leiden and Harvard Universities. He is the founder-president of the "EU Investment Programs in Armenia" organization and the founder of the legal and financial company "AHG JUSTITIA." With the introduction of the Institute of Commissioners for Diaspora Affairs, the networking capacity of the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs is being expanded.

The purpose of introducing the Institute of Diaspora Affairs Commissioner is to develop Armenia-Diaspora cooperation, to increase the efficiency of the works carried out in that field, to ensure stable relations between Armenian communities and the targeted involvement of the community's potential, as well as to support the preservation of Armenian identity, repatriation and the organization of events aimed at the integration of Diaspora Armenians in Armenia.
