The Ministry of ESCS reports that the symbolic key of the youth capital was handed over from Hrazdan to Metsamor.
The solemn ceremony of handing over the key and the concluding event of the "Youth Capital of RA 2022" program took place in Hrazdan, where the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Artur Martirosyan, participated.
Two cities applied for the "Youth Capital of the Year" competition in 2023: Tsaghkadzor (Kotayk region of the Republic of Armenia) and Metsamor (Armavir region of the Republic of Armenia). During the final stage of the application evaluation process, the competition commission declared Metsamor the Youth Capital of Armenia in 2023 by combining the results of expert evaluation and short message (SMS) voting.
