Radar Interview

"Aliyev has succeeded; sanctions will become inevitable." Arman Babajanyan (VIDEO)

The guest of Radar Armenia's "Radar Conversation" program is Arman Babajanyan, the chairman of the "For the Republic" party.

He referred to the security conference held in Munich and talked about Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, the reliable reputation of Armenia in the West, and the Russian-Azerbaijani tandem as ways out of the current situation.

According to Babajanyan, there was no clear message in Munich that could predetermine the outcome of the conflict.

"This is not Aliyev; this is not the behavior of Azerbaijan's weight class. Aliyev's presence in Munich shows that Azerbaijan cannot exist without the West. The USA and the EU have informed Aliyev that sanctions will be inevitable. "Azerbaijan announced a test of nervous resistance to Armenia."

In his opinion, our problems are more internal than external. To the question of why the meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev did not take place with Blinken's mediation, he clarified that Aliyev saw a problem.

"Azerbaijan has the freedom to act only with the permission of the Russian Federation.

Russia's calculations that Avdeevka should fall on the day of the Munich conference had the opposite effect.

Russia is committing genocide against its compatriots.

Russia considers itself wounded by the collapse of the USSR.

Russia will not stop in its actions, and Armenia is considered reliable in the West."
