Radar Interview

"The joint grand plan of Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijan has failed," Arman Babajanyan (VIDEO)

Arman Babajanyan, the chairman of the "For the Republic" party, is the guest of the "Radar Chat" program at the Radar Armenia booth. He referred to the latest developments around Artsakh, the activities of Russian peacekeepers, and issues related to the peace treaty.

"One of the goals of the 44-day war was to bring Armenia to a situation where its sovereign existence becomes impossible and meaningless. As its distant suburb, Russia should take on the role of guardian over Armenia. We understand that absorbing the South Caucasus would not end with Armenia. Georgia would be next because Armenia should also have a border with Russia, and that border could come forward only if Georgia was involved and participated in the process. Therefore, I think that a big plan has failed. And at this moment, an effort is being made to return to that plan and do everything so that the joint plan of Russia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan to destroy Armenia and crush its statehood is realized at the cost of Armenia's interests, territories, and lives."
