Regional security was discussed at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Cyprus

On May 16, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Cypriot Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos in Reykjavik. Thoughts were exchanged about promoting the bilateral political agenda and issues of interaction on multilateral platforms.

Regional stability and security issues were addressed. Ararat Mirzoyan presented to his partner the latest developments in the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the principal positions of the Armenian side on the central issues in the negotiations. In the context of the comprehensive settlement, among other topics, the importance of addressing the rights and safety of the people of Nagorno Karabakh was emphasized.
