"We are ready to hold the postponed meeting in Moscow;" Ararat Mirzoyan

RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan referred to the peace treaty negotiation process, stressing that it is ongoing, "The parties continuously, in several stages, exchange proposals, comments, justifications, then a new stage, new proposals, and this is how the process should be carried forward. Parallel to this process, ministerial meetings are held where proposals are discussed," said Mirzoyan, reminding that in December, due to the blockade of the Lachin Corridor, they did not participate in the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia in Moscow.

"While not participating, we still submitted our proposals remotely, and a few days ago, perhaps 10-15 days ago, we received Azerbaijan's response to our proposals and then the next Azerbaijani proposals. We are in the discussion phase, which shows that the negotiation process has not stopped. Now we will present our new comments," Mirzoyan elaborated.

He also noted that the Armenian side did not cancel but postponed the December meeting in Moscow last year, "That wording allows us to assume that we will launch the postponed meeting at a convenient moment. The meetings can take place in Moscow and elsewhere."

According to Mirzoyan, the choice of the city location is essential but does not have much effect on the process, "We are ready to hold the postponed meeting in Moscow."

Ararat Mirzoyan kept other details about the negotiation process private, stating that he did not consider it advisable to make the details public.
