On January 31, Ambassador Makunts met with Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (Illinois, Democrat). The ambassador presented to the congressman the security situation around Armenia and the consequences of blocking the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan.
Makunts also informed on her "Twitter" page that he had a meeting with the republican congressman Young Kim and discussed the priorities of Armenia, the peace process, and the crisis caused by the blockade of the Lachin Corridor.
