France calls for a return to dialogue within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group

Yael Braun-Pivet, Speaker of the National Assembly of France, called to return to the dialogue within the framework of the Minsk Group, "I think today it is important to return to the dialogue between the parties. The Minsk Group is one of the existing dialogue platforms. Of course, it is not the only one, but it is an essential platform. And today, it is essential that every party involved agrees to return to that dialogue. And we, the parliamentarians, call to return to the dialogue within the framework of the Minsk Group."

At the same time, she emphasized that there are other ways to return to dialogue. All measures should be tried to de-escalate the situation.

NA Speaker Alen Simonyan added that 1-2 other formats are trying to replace the Minsk Group co-chairmanship format, "However, we note that the US and France, the co-chairs of the Minsk Group, have repeatedly stated that they are ready and will continue cooperation. There was also a statement by the Russian Federation that they are ready to discuss the issues related to the existence and future fate of that format."

According to Alain Simonyan, 1-2 formats, initiated by France and Moscow, deal with the same problem and are no less important.
