Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on his appointment. The message says:
"Your Excellency,
I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Relations between the Republic of Armenia and Malaysia have traditionally been friendly and formed in an environment of mutual understanding, respect, and mutually beneficial cooperation.
I declare my willingness to work with you to develop further and deepen the interaction between our two countries and peoples.
I wish you good health, new successes, progress, and well-being with the friendly people of Malaysia.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurance of my deep respect."
