The deputy ministers of Armenia and Georgia discussed issues of cooperation in the field of energy

The Ministry of Economic and Social Affairs reported that RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hakob Vardanyan visited Tbilisi on September 7-9 at the invitation of Georgian Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Romeo Mikautadze to discuss current issues of energy cooperation between the two countries. 

"Particularly to finalize and sign the draft contracts between the Republic of Armenia and Georgia regarding the regulation of electricity supply and deviations in electricity supply in emergencies. Deputy Minister H. Vardanyan had meetings with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, R. Mikautadze, and with heads of several companies in the energy system of Georgia. Within the framework of the visit, the agreement between Armenia and Georgia on the regulation of electricity supply in emergencies and deviations in electricity supply was signed," the message says.
