The international community should put pressure on Azerbaijan, Mirzoyan told the Austrian minister

On September 20, within the framework of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Austrian Federal Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Alexander Schallenberg. Minister Mirzoyan presented to his colleague the details of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia and the resulting situation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia emphasized that the international community should pressure Azerbaijan to prevent possible new military aggressions, maintain the ceasefire regime, withdraw the Azerbaijani troops from the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia, and return the Armenian prisoners of war.

The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of enriching the bilateral agenda, exchanging ideas to deepen the political dialogue, and developing trade and economic ties. During the meeting, reference was also made to normalizing Armenia-Turkey relations.
