Today, 12 people from Artsakh were transferred to the specialized medical centers of the Republic of Armenia, accompanied by the Red Cross

Due to Azerbaijan's closure of the only road connecting Artsakh and Armenia, 12 people with severe oncological and cardiovascular diseases from the Republican Medical Center CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh were transferred to specialized medical centers in Armenia today, March 24, with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Eight medical patients referred to Armenia for treatment within the framework of the state order returned to Artsakh with their companions. Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 5 children are in the neonatal and resuscitation department in the "Arevik" medical unit.

At the Republican Medical Center CJSC, 8 patients are in the intensive care unit, and 3 are in critical condition. Until today, 215 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
