Emmanuel Chgnavoryan, the new music director of the Milan Symphony Orchestra

The new music director of the Milan Symphony Orchestra will be 28-year-old Viennese Emanuel Chgnavoryan of Armenian origin, reports the Armenian Embassy in Italy.

"A son of art, only 28 years old, Chgnavoryan already has an excellent curriculum and is a violinist. Last year, he opened the La Scala Philharmonic season with Chailly," the statement said.
